Angel began her journey as a holistic therapist in 2001 and set up business as Holistic Angel. Since then she has worked as a freelance therapist in a number of establishments including a spa, yoga studio, working from home, mobile treatments and a well being centre.
Holistic therapies aim to treat each client as a whole person by looking into their overall physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being. It is Angel’s intention to help bring a balanced, harmony into all these elements through her treatments. Often home care advice is offered, which may include small manageable adjustments to your lifestyle. It is important to remember that you are the master of your own well being and only by caring for yourself will you be able to care for others.
Angel continuously seeks further knowledge and understanding of how to holistically help others to help themselves through attending courses, research and listening to other people’s personal experiences. This enables her to keep up to date with current theories, continuously improve her treatments and expand her treatment range.
Angel takes care of herself by running/walking with her dog, yoga, reading, listening & dancing to music, a passion for food, receiving holistic treatments herself and making time to enjoy the company of family and friends.
Her moto in life is simply “Balance”. Doing anything excessively in your life may bring a negative impact on your well being, so she believes the key to a happy, healthy lifestyle is about managing and balancing all of the different aspects.

As a yoga teacher –
Angel’s yoga journey began almost 20 years ago when, always a physical, sporty person, she discovered Hot Yoga, delighting in its dynamic physicality. Then, during her second pregnancy, she found a deeper, spiritual bond when she practiced pregnancy yoga. She went on to practice Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow for many years, before deciding to train as a yoga teacher in 2019. Moving into teaching yoga felt like a natural progression for Angel, complementing her 20-year career as a holistic therapist specialising in sports massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.
After one of Angel’s dynamic, joyful and authentic classes you will feel revitalised, yet serene! For Angel, the magic of yoga is to promote stillness through movement, to use the dynamic work out to transcend life’s daily stresses and experience being fully present.
Angel’s classes cover all levels; from helping those who are less physical to rediscover their bodies’ capabilities, to helping those who are already physically fit to improve their performance and abilities. The classes will help everyone gain an understanding of how their mental well-being impacts their physical being.
Angel has a deep knowledge of the muscular, skeletal and biological systems of the body, having completed many different aspects of Anatomy & Physiology training courses during her long career in holistic health and sports massage. This gives her a great insight into how different poses can be used to alleviate particular symptoms, allows her to tailor the flow poses to suit the needs of individual students, and make diagnostic adjustments.
Angel wants to help everyone discover the benefits of yoga, and feel better about themselves – even those with a resistance to breathing techniques or meditation. Her down-to-earth approach and sense of humour helps create an atmosphere of inclusion and connection in her classes. Her ultimate aim is to help others experience contentment through gratitude and intention, and to empower people by giving them achievable goals towards lifestyle change to enhance their well-being and create harmony.
Eventually, Angel intends to open her own, affordable, community yoga studio in nature, or near the ocean, bringing the joy of yoga to as many people as possible!
